FreeBalance Accountability Suite Overview

The FreeBalance Accountability Suite is a commerical off-the-shelf integrated financial management information system (IFMIS). The FreeBalance Government Accountability Suite supports all aspects of the budget cycle and provides fiscal control over fund allocations, expenditures, appropriations, revenue administration, and human capital management. FreeBalance software is available in client-server and web-based configurations.

The FreeBalance Accountability Suite is designed for managing government fiscal processes from the ground up. The FreeBalance IFMIS is implemented by activating functionality options through software configuration rather than bespoke programming and software source code customization.

FreeBalance Accountability Suite Modules

FreeBalance Financials is the core module of the FreeBalance Accountability Suite. The core financial module is the cornerstone of budget implementation and public expenditure management (PEM) control.

FreeBalance Treasury, Purchasing, Revenue and Assets can be added to FreeBalance Financials to enable sequenced implementation of PFM.

FreeBalance Human Capital can operate stand-alone. Recruitment and Civil Service Management sub-modules are web-based applications.

FreeBalance Performance Granting is a web-based application that enables governments to manage grants for businesses and individuals.

FreeBalance Performance Budgeting is a web-based application for budget planning and budget execution.
