FreeBalance International Steering Committee (FISC)The FreeBalance International Steering Committee, sponsored by FreeBalance, is an independently operated organization that meets annually and discusses issues through conference calls each quarter. FISC provides an interactive forum for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experiences among FreeBalance international customers. Insights from FISC meetings and discussions provide leadership and vision for FreeBalance solutions for the public sector. FreeBalance Government of Canada Cluster (GCC)The Government of Canada Cluster is an independent organization managed by Consulting and Audit Canada (CAC), a federal government organization working to improve public sector management and operations in Canada and abroad. GCC consists of FreeBalance customers in the federal government of Canada and the government of Nunavut, a Canadian territory. The Cluster meets monthly with special committees assisting specific product initiatives. FreeBalance works closely with the FreeBalance Government of Canada Cluster to set product directions, review product specifications, provide beta testing and certify new versions of the FreeBalance Accountability Suite. International Consortium on Government Financial Management (ICGFM)FreeBalance is an active sponsor and board member of the International Consortium of Government Financial Management (ICGFM). Working globally with governments, organizations, and individuals, the International Consortium on Governmental Financial Management is dedicated to improving financial management by providing opportunities for professional development and information exchange. ICGFM advances governmental financial management principles and standards and promote their implementation and application. Internationally, the Consortium (1) sponsors meetings and conferences that bring together government financial managers from around the world to share information and experiences in governmental financial management in order to educate members and others about innovations, best practices, and emerging issues, and (2) fosters research concerning governmental financial management and disseminates information and results to our members and the public. www.icgfm.org |
