FreeBalance invited to participate in the 19th Eastern and Southern African Association of Accountants General (ESAAG) Conference in Swaziland
Ottawa, Canada (February 17, 2012) – FreeBalance, a leading vendor of Government Resource Planning (GRP) software, is pleased to announce that the company has been invited to participate in the 19th Annual Eastern and South African Association of Accountants General (ESAAG) Conference, to be held on February 20 – 22, 2012 at the Royal Swazi Spa Convention Centre in Ezulwini, Swaziland. FreeBalance has been a strong supporter of ESAAG since first participating as an exhibitor and sponsor of the 2006 conference in Maseru, Lesotho. FreeBalance is supporting public financial and human resource management reform in Africa with customers in Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Namibia and Southern Sudan.
The 2012 ESAAG conference theme is “Public Financial Management (PFM) as Catalyst to Good Economic Development”. ESAAG supports the improvement of the democratic processes through transparency and accountability and by strengthening of the government accounting profession. ESAAG member countries include Botswana, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
