2011 FreeBalance International Steering Committee (FISC) Drives Sustainable Public Financial Management (PFM) Solutions

Ottawa, Canada (January 17, 2011) – FreeBalance, a Government Resource Planning (GRP) software company, today announced that the annual FreeBalance International Steering Committee (FISC) event will take place January 16 – 19, 2011 in Madeira, Portugal. FISC is an opportunity for public financial managers to share lessons learned. To discuss emerging trends. And, to set company direction. FISC drives the FreeBalance Accountability Suite product vision to direct FreeBalance GRP solutions. Previous FISC events were held in Mt. Tremblant, Canada (2010); Prague, Czech Republic (2009); Cascais, Portugal (2008); and London, United Kingdom (2007).

The program and agenda for the 2011 FISC meetings provide an effective and interactive venue in support of shared goals and objectives. The sessions and workshops provide FreeBalance with an opportunity to update international customers on product, technology, and corporate developments from 2010. The steering committee is strategically driven, not sales driven. Customers gain access to FreeBalance executives providing listening opportunities.
