ICGFM is non-profit organization that it dedicated to improving public financial management so that governments may better server their citizens. The ICGFM provides knowledge transfer for good practices through conferences, forums and the publication of the International Journal on Government Financial Management.Hadden is embarking on an ambitious project to help ICGFM take advantage of new Web 2.0 technologies. “It’s an exciting time for public financial management and there is a great opportunity to enhance knowledge transfer and sharing among countries,” said Doug Hadden. “We intend to extend the knowledge transfer gained at ICGFM events and forums throughout the international public financial management community”.
