New ‘FreeBalance Customer Exchange’ Provides Interactive Forum for Global User Community

User group enables on-line and in-person exchange of customer knowledge and experiences

Ottawa, Canada (April 14, 2009) - FreeBalance, a global provider of software solutions for public financial management (PFM), is pleased to announce the launch of the FreeBalance Customer Exchange. This interactive user group community provides a forum for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experiences among FreeBalance customers around the world. FreeBalance Customer Exchange members will interact in an on-line community, and meet in person with colleagues, peers and FreeBalance professionals at networking and social events throughout the year.

The FreeBalance Customer Exchange was launched to meet a growing demand for collaboration and knowledge transfer among customers. The on-line community engages members with advanced Web 2.0 technologies designed to promote user interaction, information sharing and awareness of good practices. This new program enhances FreeBalance customer-centric initiatives including dedicated Customer Service Representatives (CSR), the 24 hours a day, 7 day a week Customer Support Portal, and, Customer Engagement Meetings. These initiatives support the FreeBalance certified ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System.

Many software firms provide venues for product support and awareness of new releases. The focus on public financial management broadens the FreeBalance Customer Exchange from product to domain. The FreeBalance Customer Exchange enables discussions of public financial management good practices, project management, progressive activation, capacity building and performance management.
