FreeBalance to Participate in International Conference on State and Public Administration Reform in the Dominican Republic

XII International Congress of CLAD brings together public sector reform experts from Ibero-America

FreeBalance, a global provider of software solutions for public financial management (PFM), is pleased to announce that the company will be participating in the upcoming XII International Congress of CLAD on State and Public Administration Reform in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic from October 30 – November 2, 2007. The annual gathering of CLAD is an important event for governments in Ibero-America and the Caribbean, as well as other countries that can provide insight and share experiences in the field of public administration reform. Previous CLAD events have been held in Guatemala, Santiago, Madrid, Panama, Lisbon, Buenos Aires, Mexico, Madrid, Isla de Margarita, and Rio de Janeiro.

The Latin American Centre for Development Administration (CLAD) is an inter-governmental organisation, which was established in 1972 at the initiative of the governments of Mexico, Peru and Venezuela. Its founding was recommended by the United Nations General Assembly (Resolution 2802-XXVI) with a view to establishing a regional agency whose activity would centre on modernisation of public administration, a strategic factor in the economic and social development process.
